PHP, ASP, and Java classes providing distance and proximity searching are provided. The database can be utilised in a wide range of projects that draw upon proximity-based searches in New Zealand.

Do you have a New Zealand POSTCODE database?
New Zealand's postcode system is not able to be used for location lookups (locations can have several postcodes), therefore DreamscapeMedia does not offer this product.
Does it include postcodes for each place name?
No. The database contains all New Zealand suburb/town names along with thier associated district, region, island, and latitude/longitude value.

How many place names does your database contain?
The database contains 4,637 place names. The database is reviewed every six months. Purchasers are notified of updates to the database via email and can purchase an update for $55 incl GST.
What are the license restrictions of this product?
You may use this product in any project you or your business is directly involved with. You may not redistribute this product or a modified version of it. Your implementation of the product must not allow it's latitude and longitude values to be displayed on-screen or within accessible source code. A technique to avoid this is to round the latitude and longitude values to three decimal points before display. View the license agreement before purchasing.
